One word: pancakes. The night started with the idea of ending the night with pancakes. My friend Yolanda and myself promised each other that after Automatico we would eat some pancakes. Three words: It never happened.

What did happen was Automatico. Which is becoming a really damn popular once a month party. The lines get really long and usually have to turn away people. So get there really early or get there after midnight to get in. So this night had a special performance from Spain underground disco queen La Prohibida. She’s a cross dressing dance machine. Her performance was great and when I looked at the crowd, everyone wanted to touch her and have her touch them. It was crazy and I tried my best to stay away for the frenzy of the crowd. I went on stage and snapped some photos instead of being in the crowd.

That night we also had the pleasure of being interview by Boris for the show Galeria Alternativa. Aaron handled the Spanish portion of the interview and I handled the uneducated blabber portion of the interview. I always see Boris around and he’s a really cool guy. So it was great to chitchat with him for the show.

Also towards the end of the night, DJ Cody Wayne was spinning some really great music and one dancer decided to climb the beam on the ceiling. I was only able to snap after the person’s wig feel off and decided to jump back down from the beam.

Later we all went to Ane’s loft for a little after party on top of his building’s roof. Maurice de la Falaise showed me his new NACO t-shirt. Which I need to go get. It looks really cool. But at the end we didn’t get pancakes but McDonalds instead. I know, we’re such Americans, haha.
